Adaptive tuning of biometric engine
Available to License
Issued September 23, 2014
US Patent Number: US8842886B2

A method for adaptively tuning a biometric engine comprises the step of generating a database having a plurality of enrollments. Each enrollment corresponds to one or more of a plurality of operation characteristics. The method further comprises the step of comparing, with the biometric engine, enrollments from the database to generate test results including, for each of a plurality of sets of operation characteristics, error rates for a plurality of sensitivity settings and/or confidence score threshold values. The method further comprises the step of analyzing the test results to determine optimized sensitivity settings and/or confidence score threshold values for each set of operation characteristics.A method for adaptively tuning a biometric engine comprises the step of generating a database having a plurality of enrollments. System and method for information storage using blockchain databases combined with pointer databases
Available to License
Issued June 1, 2021
US Patent Number: US11023423B2

A system and method for information storage using blockchain and pointer databases, comprising a computer with a blockchain manager and datastore manager, and blockchain data input, which connects over a network to a distributed blockchain ledger containing information such as personally-identifying biometric data and a datastore system containing searchable information such as a DNS system on the persons entered into the biometric blockchain, the datastore system also containing reference numbers for each searchable block in the blockchain, such that verification or identification can both be accomplished swiftly and securely of data in the blockchain such as for biometric verification to verify or identify persons submitting biometric data to such a system.
